Hello! I am Olivia, a student in the United States. I am hosting this campaign for Riyad and Farah.
About Riyad and Farah “Omar Riyad is 11 years old and Farah is 3 years old. They live in the northern part of the Gaza Strip. They have never been to school. They have lost their right to education because of the war on the Strip. They hope that people will help them and donate to them so that they can secure food and drink. They need all the necessities of life, such as clothes and children’s toys. They want their father and mother to live in a safe life. Their father does not have any job opportunities because of the war. The invasion has affected their father. He lost his job and their home. They only have a tent to live in, and it lacks all the necessities of life. They do not have anything, such as electricity or electrical equipment. They hope that people will help them get a house and so that they can live in peace and have job opportunities, such as a shop, grocery store, or a small store that sells clothes or anything else.”
The children’s Uncle, Basl, reached out to me asking for support in starting a campaign. I have spoken with him, Riyad, and Farah on video calls.
Basl told me their family has received no aid at this point. The price of food in Gaza has skyrocketed and is unnadordable for Riyad and Farah’s parents. As all adults in their life have lost their jobs as a result of the war, Riyad and Farah are relying solely on donations at this time.
Riyad and Farah are kind children relying on donations from people like you to secure food and clean water. 100% of all donations will be sent to their family.
